Doctrines
Hoylake Chapel is an independent church whose doctrines are based on the Bible. We believe through it God has revealed himself to the world. The Bible reveals to us God as the creator and sustainer of the universe. It teaches us there is a purpose to life and a direction to History. The Bible reveals to us that God is not only a God of the Cosmos but a God of relationships. He makes people his friends. The Bible reveals to us that we are so important to God that he was willing to surrender everything to show his love for us. He did this on the Cross. The Bible teaches us how we should live our lives; "Treat others as you would like them to treat you", "Love your neighbour as much as you love yourself". The Bible tells us of the power to live for God availableto the Christian through the indwelling Holy Spirit.
